I have a question about area and circumference differences I get when I unfold a tube using sheet metal features. Basically I modeled a tube, created a 0.0001 inch break in the tube using a cut extrude, inserted a weldment bend, and unfolded the weldment. Stop putting a small flat section on your part just to get it to convert to sheet metal. Flatten it by converting it using the Insert Bends command instead!
